Ken and I started late, after having worked since April at Olbrich Gardens on Thursday afternoons. Ken is especially good at digging out thistles and weeding. We also planted flowers at Olbrich. Ken has worked there on Thursdays for nearly 12 years and has over 700 volunteer hours there.
Before we come to this garden now, Ken and I work at the UW Botany Greenhouse washing pots. It is fun to work in beautiful gardens!
We tasted a hot pepper tonight and brought watermelon. We Looked for bugs, but didn’t find any. Good!
